Which teams did well in this draft?
Well, on average every draft year produces 5 to 6 All Stars, so we can assume that this re-draft predicts that the first 20 players probably will become All Stars. Towns, Simmons, Porzingis and Russell have already accomplished this.
We will all be very curious about that Dallas team, with Doncic (#1) and Porzingis (#10) they look to be on the road to greatness. The future for Sacramento looks very bright as well with Fox (#4) and Bagley (#9) as possible superstars. The same goes for Phoenix with Booker (#6), Ayton (#8) and maybe even Jackson (#26)?
The Atlanta Hawks have Collins (#13), Young (#14) and Huerter (#24) drafted, so possibly 3 future All Stars? That seems very optimistic for them.
Chicago will have a future All Star frontcourt Markkanen (#7) and Carter Jr. (#15), while Indiana could have that as well with Sabonis (#19) and Turner (#20). The Celtics gets two All Stars on the wing with Tatum (#3) and Brown (#16). A team like the Lakers will still have multiple chances of getting an All Star with Kuzma (#22), Ingram (#23) and Ball (#27).
Some rebuilding/non-contending teams in the East like New York (Smith Jr, Ntilikina, Trier, Dotson, Knox, Robinson #28), Cleveland (Sexton, Zizic), Orlando (Fultz, Isaac #30, Bamba), Charlotte (Monk, Bridges) and Miami (Winslow, Jones, Adebayo) did extremely poor in this draft. (I would be scared to put this draft on one of their fan forums
)
