How do you add an image to your forums signature?

Someone asked me about this and I have to admit I don't even know.  Can one of you experts walk us through it step by step?

I don't know the technical jargon, but what I did was upload my image to a site like imgur or Photobucket and it take the code that has [IMG]and copy it to my sig. Hope that helps.

Yeah this.

Just make an account on photobucket.com.  It's free and easy.  Once you upload an image, there are a series of options on the right that give out access to the image in different forms.  The [IMG] one is what you want.  That displays the image in forums.

Just copy and paste that code into the box and you're fine.

One thing is to make sure you have the right dimensions.  There are limits on the forum.  Make sure it is within them.

Navigate to Profile

When you hit profile, you will see three bars on top labeled "Profile Info", "Modify Profile" and "Actions"

When you navigate to Modify Profiles, a drop down menu will come down, go to "Forum profile"

Where it says signature enter [ img ]http://"hyperlink of image here"[ /img ]

to find the hyperlink of image just go to said image right click and click on "Copy Image Url"

Insert that Image Url in between [ img ] and [ / img ]

Done

**Note when you're doing this, there are no space between [ img ] or the [ / img ]. NO SPACES**

Step 1: Host photo on photobucket or imageshack. Find direct link to image. If you need help with this send me a PM.

Step 2: Click on "profile", directly under the "forum" link at the top-right of this page.

Step 3: Modify Profile (drop-down) -> Forum Profile

Step 4: Under signature box, put in the code for your picture.

Ah its in the "ultimate profile" section.

I was sick of seeing my about me say "I'll write this later" with a smiley face.
