cp3 really reminds me of the best moments of marbury, especially when he takes it to the hole. he's absolutely incredible. if marbury ever got his head on straight, he could've been insanely good, too.
oh, and look. another road team losing. minus the pistons/magic series (which could have been close had orlando come with its A game, instead of its B- game), no road team has won a game in this round. really remarkable. i think the refereeing has something to do with that, though. from all the games i've seen, refs have been giving the home team far too much an advantage in calls. home teams always get more calls, but games are being called way too much in home teams' favors. probably because stern knows this is one of the best postseasons (in terms of quality of teams in it) in history, and he wants every series to go 6 or 7...more money to be made that way.

Oh, ya ... got that right! Every extra game is a hugely lucrative blessing to this league, and if anyone seriously thinks this doesn't play into the officiating at all, well ... there's this bridge I've got, see ...

Game 6: The Spurs has played a decent first half so  far...with 5+ minutes to go.But,the Hornets are hanging close.Spurs were up by as many as 13 but the Hornets keeps coming back strong.

Spurs take a 7pt. lead into the locker room at the half.Very good first half played by both teams.

Spurs have been excellent but they haven't gotten that seperation from the Hornets despite their play. You have to make your good stretches count. This is putting a lot of pressure on San Antonio to maintain this incredibly high level of performance.

I agree,Byron Scott will take this anyday on the road, only 7down at the half aganist the Spurs. His team are younger, and has a lot more energy in the long haul than the Spurs. If they do not take advantage of the big deficits(Spurs),they might be fishing soon.

That would be a great show full of exciting basketball

But I'd love a Tim Duncan-Kobe Bryant matchup. The two smartest players in all of basketball competing for a shot at the title. I'd love that. Spurs-Lakers would be a great matchup, I have no idea who'd win that.

I think LA beat Hornets. It'd be a great battle but I can't see LA losing that. Like Utah-Lakers now except Hornets would be better and tougher.

What an odd series...  six games, six double-digit wins for the home team (including five legitimate blowouts, assuming there's not a big New Orleans comeback here.)

Hate to see West hit the floor.

Game 7 should be a doozey.  I know this has been beaten to death, but......these home/away discrepancies are very odd.  I'm no conspiracy theorist, but how can these home blowouts keep continuing like they have?

I'm picking San Antonio in this one.  Ginobli is going to score 35.
