After a hot start Sully has been shooting sub 40 percent over the last month and around 35 percent over the last 2 weeks. Is this conditioning with him being a problem again?   How can we be a good team when our starting PF is shooting below 40 percent?

Our starting power forward is not shooting below 40%, though.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
He's definitely in a slump and it could certainly be because of his conditioning.

His free throw palm grab is screwing up his free throw percentage too. I wish the coaching staff would ban him from doing the palm hold before he shoots, it's a terrible way to build rhythm going into a shot.

Sully has always taken a lot of jumpshots deep in the shotclock which are contested or rushed etc...which probably hurts his overall %.
Still, he's not shooting it well enough and needs to improve long term.

Keep in mind that Marcus Smart has been shooting 33% from the field which is something I'd be more worried about right now, especially his 23% from 3 point land.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.
