At home on separate computers I had issues with both IE and Firefox.  At work, I use Firefox (the same computer from the home) and have had trouble with it.  The last few times I haven't had any issue, but I did earlier today and all weekend.

It's been happening for me too (even right now, though not too badly). Lots of delay. It seems confined to the forums rather than other parts of the site.

I think I've noticed it being worse when a game thread is active...but I have to confirm that.

It could also be CelticConcourse.

I am using Safari on OS 10.6 and 10.7, and an iPad. I think the slowdown is similar across all machines/platforms.

Me???

I use Safari and IE and Chrome on desktops, laptops, iPads and iPhones and the forums are slow everywhere (not the main page though). It just doesn't load and will display the loading symbol for maybe thirty minutes, until the site starts working again.

Separate problem (I think): When I'm on Safari, the forums will sometimes display a gray screen after the page fully loads that prohibits me from accessing anything! (so I have to use a different browser or restart the comp)

Whatever the issue is, it happened about a week or so ago...that is when I first noticed the slowdowns.

And it appears to be the same with Google Chrome, too.

horrible for the past 4 days -- incredibly slow.  taking over 6 minutes to do anything in the forums.  no issues with the other parts of the site.  doesn't seem to matter what I use: Safari, Chrome, IE, Firefox.  has to be an issue with the site.

Someone know if any changes have occurred since that spam starting getting through -- either the spam overloading the server or someone trying to block the spam which ended up making things more difficult for everyone?

it is/was a problem with the site, support is aware of the issue and working to fix it

seems better today, though I don't know any specifics just yet
