Point guard privilege, perhaps.

A bit to unpack here...Would Mark Jackson, Lue or any other minority candidate actually be a GOOD FIT for the BKN job?I know I'd probably get some eye rolls from Kyrie and Durant but did THEY sign off on Steve Nash? We ALL know how this stuff works......Will Steve Nash be a good coach? I believe he will be. I'd guess that OFFENSIVELY BKN will be fun to watch but unless Steve brings in some defensive gurus BKN could be Phoenix (mid 2004-2008) East.In summary I believe there are other undercurrents involved here other than White Privilege. The NBA seems to be The Gold Standard for Minority hires or at least leading the way. I'd say give Steve a chance....contracts mean nothing nowadays. If things go south then he won't last the full term.
I'm the one gut who said yes only because Nash hasn't been on the radar of trying to get a coach job. It's like they sought him out.
