Ja Morant won Rookie of the Year. Here are the vote totals. 99 out of 100 first place votes for Morant! Zion ended up in 3rd place.

Hats off to Ja Morant for an amazing rookie season!

I want to know who voted for Zion over Ja.

Apparently so does Ja.

Quote
Mark Giannotto: Ja Morant on the one ROY vote he didn’t get: “I want to shoot them a direct message and thank them for motivating me … If anyone knows who it is, let me know.”

There's always that one guy who wants to be different from the rest for no good reason.

Hype aside, what argument would you have to pick Williamson over Morant based on this season's performance?

There is none.  This person was likely predisposed to voting for Zion when he was drafted and was unable to find a way to vote based on merit.

Zion only played in 24 games. The guy shouldn't have even qualified for the award. Morant was hands down the rookie of the year.

RJ Barrett only got one 3rd place vote? I wasn't following him but what I did see out of him, especially early on in the season was pretty promising. Granted, Knicks may not be the place to develop his talent but he did seem like a kid that could score comfortably.
Baby Jesus!

They won too many games this season. Hey, at least we were able to move our draft position up a few spots in the bubble.

I get that, but it seems weird to be bitter about. That pick was a cherry on top that most of us had forgotten about until 1-2 years ago
