This makes a lot of sense to me.  Lacks experience, but so did Kerr, right?

Superstars will listen to him.  Maybe he can explain to Kyrie why the earth is round not flat, etc.

maybe.  Outside of that run with a stacked Cavs team,  haven't seen him do much else (other than hold Docs water bottle)

His no nonsense style could also conflict with Embiid

76ers are nuts if they think its been a coaching issue.... the GM Colagenlo/Brand is the problem.  Making poor moves after poor moves.

Surprised Nash is interested in coaching honestly. But he's probably a good guy to handle media when Durant and Kyrie are feeling grumpy.

I think Nash has potential to be a great coach, but not sure this is the group for that. Both Kyrie and KD are prima donnas, and I think they need a strong-minded and experienced coach who can keep them in line.

I mean, it's a huge risk. Just because Nash was a HOF-level player, it doesn't mean that he'll become a good coach.

If the Nets were in rebuild mode, I would have understood the risk of hiring a rookie coach. Thing is, they'll be in win-now mode next season. Imo, they should have hired an experienced coach.
