Denied another finals

Some are just not made for the big moments.

true. I think this one is especially painful because his former team did it, in a game 7, final seconds.

It looks like it but on the other hand Harden is ?

NBA should send both teams home and let Portland play the Lakers

I mean, wasn't that expected? Houston were clearly the favorites, even taking them to the end of a Game 7 is impressive

Did anyone go into this season thinking "man, if the Thunder can't take down Houston then this season is a disappointment"? Who even had them making the playoffs after the Westbrook trade?
I'm bitter.

Honestly, leading that okc team the way he did was probably the most impressive thing hes done in his career. No fan of Chris paul but they were suppose to lose that series lol

So much respect gained for Chris Paul this season. He got traded in to what looked like a bleak situation where most stars would have requested a trade, a release, or just mailed it in. But Cp3 took the reigns, overachieved in every aspect, and took the opportunity to mentor the young talent on his team. What he did on the court is beyond impressive for a 35 year old point guard. I’ve never really been a fan of the guy, but I am so impressed with what he did this season. First ballot hall of famer and a top ten PG of all time if you ask me.

Denied another finals because his teammate wanted to be the hero and shoot a 3  ;D

To be fair, it appears shot clock was almost out, and he had a good look at the 3. Harden just made a great play.

Paul passed the ball earlier on that possession. So did Shai.

I'm not saying they should necessarily have played hero ball, but those two guys should have known that the other players on the court could not create a good shot for themselves. I thought both guys should have forced a shot over kicking it out and making a role player try to figure out how to get a shot off. Sometimes unselfishness is selfish.

Yeah, that was a pretty awful sequence by OKC there at the end of the game.

The whole last minute of that game was pretty bad.

Dort not only scored 30 but asking him to make the final shot is a tall order

What was the really dumb and I was screaming at the TV....  all SGA had to do was lob the ball to Steven Adams for a quick layup attempt

I mean he had 6'5 Tucker front him.

This said, who know if Adams could handle the pass, lay it up cleanly and execute.  But I mean it was their best shot

Too bad they didn't have Timelord. He could have executed the alley hoop dunk
