A. Randolph looks like a good off the bench stretch big. He blocks shots and is a rim runner. He also can shoot the 3 but rebounds at a low rate... I think he'd be worth a look.

Always had interest. Would prefer T Rob or Bogut, but let's see how he looks.

He signed a 3-year extension with Real Madrid in March.  I don't think he's on the market.

Bummer. This ESPN article made it sound like he might consider it: http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/20729156/eurobasket-2017-final-anthony-randolph-potential-nba-fit

Maybe just wishful thinking on my part....

Oh, I just found this:

"Anthony Randolph has an NBA 'out' clause in his deal with Real Madrid this season, but he would only return if he was certain "[to] have an opportunity to play."
"I have to know that I'm going to have a role and that I can help the team," Randolph said. "I don't want to go sit on the bench." Randolph was the No. 14 pick in the 2008 draft, but he never quite found his footing while playing for four teams before leaving the NBA in 2014. All signs point to him continuing his career overseas. Sep 17 - 8:57 PM"

When was the last time Bogut played any significant minutes?

When he was riding that 73-9 Western Conference team a few seasons ago.

I like Randolph, he's really turned his career around in Europe and I have no doubt that he'd be a more effective player than he was back he was drafted. The league caught up and now values his playstyle and the versatility he could offer would be exactly what a contending team would look for in a reserve stretch 4/5.

I doubt he'd come here though sounds like he wants to play and there are plenty of good teams the could offer more opportunity than us. If he'd accept a JaVale McGee style role I'd take him on but sounds like he's happy being the starter on a competitive Euro team.

Doesn't look like he's played NBA ball in 3 years. That would be a concern for me.

I've always been intrigued by this guy. I think he can be big for us. I don't know if he'll carve out minutes though but I'd be happy if we're able to sign him!

If a guy can play he will play.   He was not ready when he was drafted.   I am still not sure that he is ready.   I don't mind us bringing him into camp and taking a look.   But doesn't he want a promise of significant playing time?  That has to be earned not promised.

He's making good money at Real Madrid. He's not coming back for a while.

I've had a soft spot for this guy after he dropped 40 in a summer league game after his sophomore year or something like that (it was a long time ago). He also was a favorite player of mine to develop in NBA 2k with the Warriors.

That said, I think he'd like to play significant minutes to make a return to the NBA so I don't think he'd be a fit here.

The most shocking thing was that he somehow played for Slovenia in the Euros this year. A country he has never been to or has any connection to. They just gave him passport cause he has the same agent as Luka Doncic and Slovenia were looking for hired guns. FIBA really needs to clean that stuff up cause it is ridiculous.

But yeah, he wants minutes and won't find that here.
