  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Bill Maher had a good 'New Rule'.

New Rule: All Liam Neesons movies must now be titled 'I'm going to hunt you, I'm going to find you, and I'm going to kill you'

Well worth the watch, if you don't mind some violence in a movie, that's all I want to say about it because it's a genuinely good flick and I don't want to spoil it.

Just watch it? :x

Bah.

Also watched From Dusk till Dawn again.

Just watched this.  I guess it didn't live up to my expectations, after hearing many, many people talk about how amazing it was.  I thought it was decent, but it fell well short of fantastic, or even particularly good in my opinion.

The Kids Are All Right.

Didn't live up to the hype imo.

I didn't care for it, but my wife really enjoyed it.  I personally thought it was fairly boring.

Yeah boring describes it for me too. Had friends who raved about it though. But it was free off a movie channel so no biggie.

Maltese Falcon. Kinda in shock it's in the top 100 films. I've seen a good 200 or so better than that..dated and unlikely. And Bogart is overrated

That would be the broken image.

Haha.  I just want to know what's so great about it.  SPOILER ALERT:  I just didn't find the love story to be very believable -- it seemed to basically consistent of Gossling and the girlfriend staring at each other awkwardly. Then the coincidence piled on top of coincidence that happened just seemed stupid, as did Gossling's motivations.  Then, we have the guy who is supposedly only a driver turn into a Vin Diesel-esque action hero.  And seriously, the hit man just sat there in the elevator watching them make out for 20 minutes while conveniently waiting to be killed? END SPOILERS.

It was okay, I thought.  Definitely watchable.  But fantastic, or even really good?  I didn't think so.  Pretty mediocre, I thought, and I tend to like action movies.
