Triboy, is Mickey capable of grabbing a rebound in traffic?

RJ Hunter has made quite a few good passes this game but 0 assists to show for it.

Mickey got dominated on the boards by Cooley last night and by pretty much any Sixer tonight.

What gets me, the Celtics aren't even trying to find a center any place, in any league. We didn't even put one on the summer league roster. We're helpless down low.

At least Colton Iverson would bang and grab a little.

Not sure if it's because he's simply too weak or it's the lack of motor. He lacks that second, third, etc. effort that very good rebounders have. Whatever the case, 6 rebounds in over 50 minutes of playing time is pathetic.

We should trade Rozier,  young and Hunter for a legit shooter.  Gerald Green anyone?

Ahem. David Lee is our new Center.
I wouldn't be shocked to see Zeller traded at some point soon.
Celtics fan for life.

Mickey reminds me of a less explosive Brandan Wright.

And if we are going with bigs who can't rebound, they need to stretch the floor.  Ours do not and our guards can't drive.

Terry Rozier
Pick # 16
8 Points
2 Assists
1 Rebound
2 Steals
0 Blocks
2 Turnovers
3-6 FG
2-3 FT
18 minutes

Jahlil Okafor
Pick #3
9 Points
7 Rebounds
0 Assists
1 steal
0 blocks
3 Turnovers
3-10 FG
3-6 FT
23 Minutes

Pretty hard to argue that Okafor has played any better overall tonight than Rozier has - if I'm a Sixers fan, I've got to be pretty dissapointed right now.

Mickey is playing out of position.  He is learning a new system.

Don't worry

Worry about Rozier who can't make an open jump shot

None of our rookies are thrilling

and it's the same old same old James Young.
My biases, in order of fervor:
Pro:
