Hayward has to become that second big scorer. If this happens, Boston will be a tough out.

If Morris leaves next year...very big shoes to fill for Hayward...hopefully by that time, no more excuses for Gordy. We all know how good he was. Just so awful he is ATM.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

merry christmas
This. Christmas W was the only thing I asked for.

Marvellous, super happy. Even with the 5 mins of free basketball. Love it. What's that now? 4-0 in OT situations?

We look like the Isaiah Thomas Celtics at times.

I will never complain about a win, but the offense cannot die without Irving.

This is true ^

Philly could have played better, especially in terms of taking care of the ball.  But the C's could have played WAY better.  Missed tons of open looks and we got little contribution from many players, yet still managed to win.

It's just a matter of time before we start putting everything together.  Nobody wants to face us in the playoffs.

Without Kyrie, this team would be screwed.

All hail Kyrie!

Our record will probably be the other way around.

Wow! Amazing finish. Kyrie is a superstar. We need Hayward to come out of the witness protection program. Jason was fantastic. Morris Sr. was solid and we needed Horford who actually played Embid better than I have ever seen him.

Butler is pretty awesome.  Kyrie scored over him quite a few times but otherwise Butler was everywhere defensively and put together a pretty good shooting night after a slow start.

It's Simmons who is overrated.  I remain unimpressed by his play.

I'm talking this year. Can't just score 10 or less most nights. Maybe he isn't close as we think he is but the guy has to get it together. Kyrie needs some help. Mook and filled in for it but Gordon is too good to be a non factor

Came in this year, not thinking much of Kyrie.

Saw the first 10 or so games, wasn't much impressed at all. In fact, told my friends he looked dull and uninspiring.

He's won me over since. Games like these... what a dude. When you absolutely, positively have GOT to get yourself a bucket: Kyrie's the man.

The Celtics defense was outstanding in the 4Q after giving up 38 in the 3Q. Anyone complaining about Al should watch games like this a bit more carefully.
