Watching the C's lose a game this year is gonna be considerably less painful when I can look at the Brooklyn game and see them losing by 30.

They are BAD. Like, really bad. Could be a bottom 5 team even with Lopez. If he or Young goes down for any significant period and that could really be a top 3 pick.

And how about Minny?! If Towns is as good as he looks, anyone feel like that could become a mid- first round pick yet?

So, theoretically, we could end up with

5  via BKL
10 via Dal
14 via Min
22 (ours)
31 via Phi
40 via Dal
53 via Miami
57 via Cleveland

Thats insane.

Yeah, that's way too many picks. Even if you draft and stash. Might have to trade the second rounders for future first rounders.

Maybe trade the 14, 22, and one of the second rounders for the Nets 2019 right to swap picks, and 2020 first rounder.  :P

Too early on Minny. They played pair of bottom feeders to get their wins.

But the Nets are absolutely flailing. Their only silver linings have been the the play of RHJ and Bargnani and the latter isn't sustainable.

Even with Brook Lopez producing at a prodigious offensive level (though he's back to Bargnani levels on the boards) and Bargs lighting it up off the bench, their offense is down there with Philly. If Joe Johnson continues to play like a modern day Gerald Wallace, they have no one to pick up the offensive slack other than maybe Bogdanovic, who is even more of a horror show than JJ on defense.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Did anyone notice how overweight Joe Johnson is?
He's asking to get injured. He must be carrying an extra 15 pounds?
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

JJ is questionable with a bruised hand. And so the injuries start.

I'm kind of annoyed at how good RHJ has been. He would've filled a need for us and I loved him pre-Draft.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

that was a no brainer if you ask me, in best case scenario they are the 25th team in the nba at the end of the season.

Chicago and the Spurs might be the best Eastern and Western conference teams in the league.   Glad to see Brooklyn start the season 0-2, but I'm still not giving my hopes up.

They 'll destroy the Lakers ,  long as Lopez is fully healthy , the rest of the team shows up , they can still beat a good amount of teams.   They are semi dangerous.

If Lpoez slips on a banana peel .....then the gig is up.

Been watching the game. The Nets do not get after it at all on D. Such a soft D. This team will give up over 108 a game.
