I kind of like the lineup that is out there right now.

Rozier / Smart / Brown / JT / Horford.

Isn't that the group that took us to within 1 game of the Finals ?

Nope, we had Morris playing 4.

Edit: I see this is another subtle jab at Kyrie  ::) ::) ::) ::) ::)

Haven't mentioned his name in a week - you are yet another poster completely obsessed with this guy.

Alright, nice win by this group tonight without Kyrie!

Smart, Brown, and Horford really brought their A games tonight!

After the win in Toronto, there was an article in RaptorsHQ that suggests that Celtics struggles isn't so much as the young guys not playing well, but rather its because of Horford not playing well or not playing at all due to injuries, minutes restriction etc. I'm starting to think that is really the case.

It's true, even Steve Kerr mentioned it. Kyrie is the best player on this team, but Horford is the engine that makes everything work. When he does well, there's a trickle-down effect for the rest of the team and we win a lot.

really good game for the C's tonight.  Good effort on D, got great games from Smart / Brown and Al.  These are the kinds of games we need to make sure we keep winning.  Nets are a gutsy team that doesn't quit.
And Baynes!

Nice personal attack - I doubt Nick and the mods will notice though.

I’ve been extremely impressed by Marcus Smart’s league average offense this season.

He can be slightly below average and still be a very good player! This right here is bonus. Although he got a bit trigger happy in the GS game.

The young guys get all the credit for the playoff run last year, but Al was in the middle of it all and was huge throughout. If we get Al playing like a max player, we are in much better shape!

I don't think most of us forget how awesome Al was last year in the playoffs.  It was real team effort though.  Everyone contributed.

Give credit to Jaylen Brown, he played very well tonight.

On the other hand, Hayward was horrible.
He just had 2 points.

I think Hayward will be better next season.
But the Celts really need to open up more minutes and shots for Hayward.

If the AD trade to the Celts happens, I think Tatum will be gone as the Pels would be asking for Tatum.
That might be what Brown and Hayward need.
Hayward starts in place of Tatum and Brown continues to come off the bench.

Really good win tonight.  Well executed game plan, defense and tenacity where there in the 4Q, and big efforts from Al, Baynes and Brown (who was excellent). So was Smart.

This was an important game - given how inconsistent they've been and after a tough game vs GS - and they responded.
