You heard correctly
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

I guess maybe it makes sense if you know for sure you're going to try and give JT the night off, too? That way if we concede tonight's loss to Milwaukee, we can at least not lose too much ground tomorrow with another loss and still be up by a half game going into the ASB.

Well, I believe that was just from the pre-game conference that Brad spoke at the other day. He said originally that JT was likely going to sit out that game. That may change given he's sitting out this game now, but who knows.
