Celtics favored by 11 points.  Over/under is 229.5  OKC put up 145 pts against the NYK as part of a 280 point total.  If Brogdon is still out (I think he is) that is going to cut down on our scoring some, even against OKC.  It will probably still go over.  There will likely be garbage time so that can make covering the spread unpredictable.

As an aside, how does a Tom Thibodeau coached team give up 145 points?  OKC shot 62.5% with 54.8% from 3?  OKC scored 43 in both the second and the third quarters.  Scoring seems to be up in the NBA this season but wow.

The DET game was kind of scratchy with no Brown, Horford, Brogdon.  Need to keep the killer instinct.  No trying to off the backboard alley-oop passes (Marcus, I am talking to you).  Just take care of business.  Keep the execution tight.

Yeah, and the Celtics are at 22nd, right there with the Knicks.

I hope all the OKC players arms are tired from all the shooting against the Knicks.

Of course you can look at this the other way and note that OKC gave up 135 points to the Knicks.  Based on that (which isn't realistic) we should score 150.

I still remember that OKC game where we were up big only to end up squandering that lead. This is definitely a trap game.
