This no longer a young team. It's a veteran team both and as such there will be games all season where they just won't feel like making the effort required to win - like tonight.  Especially on the road.
So get used to it.

But, come playoff time, we'll be glad it is a veteran team.

Eddie House saying that Tatum is getting a rep with the officials as a whiner and they are on the lookout for him waving his arm in a dismissive gesture and will T him up when they see him do it
One thing Udoka was pretty good at - I thought anyway - was limiting this stuff. This could be a test for Mazzulla. He took one for the team getting himself tossed tonight. Let's see if the histrionics with Tatum and Grant especially, continue.

Weird:  NBA teams need more than one or two big men to win.

Thank You.

And why is it that you and I and some others here have been saying that the entire off-season, but supposed basketball experts like Stevens and our coaching staff can't figure it out ? Or is the problem the owners unwillingness to spend money. Either way, if true, that is a fundamental problem with the organization and will prevent us from winning titles.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

they also need to play defense to win.

Those usually go hand-in-hand.

A better big can’t clean up everything they did tonight. The Bulls would go right by their perimeter defender like he wasn’t there - even Smart was blown by a few times. On the other end, the Bulls didn’t hold the Cs down because Vucevic is a great defensive center; drives stalled on the perimeter and went nowhere.

Yes the perimeter defense and particularly the pick and roll has been an issue these first four games,
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D
