Jokic is having a much tougher time without Gobert there. A nice low skilled rim runner that allows him to hang back in the paint and clog the lane.

Now he has to defend Kyle Anderson who wants to play at the three point line and some handles, Naz Reid who plays at the three point line and is aggressive driver, or Towns who is a top quality scorer from all over the court. Jokic can't really defend Towns. So A Gordon has him. But even the other two guys, they have taken Jokic right out of his defensive comfort zone.

I would give Julian Strawther a go in the Q4 if I were Denver. He is only a rookie. Not part of the rotation. But he is a shooter. This game is over or at least will be soon. When that happens, give him some floor time. See how he does. See if he can show you enough to give him some run in Gm 3 because you need shooting.

Have the Jokic Nuggets ever beaten an elite team in the playoffs? They had a historically easy path to a title last year. They've disappointed in prior years, albeit often in part due to injuries. And now this year they're getting smoked by a talented but relatively inexperienced Wolves team.
