I'm trying to learn a new photoshop style, for now I'm practicing the pen tool. Does this look like Smart?

It is Smart, bro. I'd give the picture 30 mpg this season.

Can you work in the acne scars (?) without making him look like Pippi Longstalking? That'd bump him to 35 mpg, imo.

Edit: If you did that with the pen tool, that's incredible.

Can you work in the acne scars (?) without making him look like Pippi Longstalking? That'd bump him to 35 mpg, imo.

It does look like Smart, though it's tough to really capture somebody's face without a lot of details.  You've done a pretty good job here.  Not bad at all for an initial attempt in this style.

You have some artistic talent for certain.   Since I know Marcus's face the black and white I can pick out but if I didn't know him it would be harder.   The second one, you really captured him well.
