Both Kyrie and Ainge said they have talked about this already and have an understanding of what each side wants and what they expect to do once the season is over.

In that perspective, if Ainge is not trading Kyrie this season, then it means he already knows Kyrie is highly likely to sign with the Celtics long-term.

You could have written that same paragraph about Isaiah Thomas before his contract year.

Not at all. IT was asking for the brink trucks and was publicly declaring his love for the Celtics while recruiting stars to join. All the while, Ainge never promised anything.
