Drew, put a sock in it already. Yeesh
Maybe I'm getting old but I would really prefer if Drew focused a little bit more on just talking about the game and less on his little bits.

Yeah, seriously. I’m not interested in hearing backstory on Pistons bench players. Sometimes he tries too hard.
And maybe it would've been an interesting tidbit if he could've done it in 2 sentences. Not as a monologue.

He’s 22 years old, he gets excited  :police:
That's fair.

Monty Williams is like the 3rd or 4th highest paid coach in the league (and not long ago was the highest paid before others got extensions) and the Pistons are 12-58. I mean, idk what to say, but it's not like they don't have some star players (Cunningham, Stewart, etc). What exactly does he do lol?

And if you change the number of posts per page, it can drop to 3.

I miss Mike already and he hasn’t even retired.  :P

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

They gave an update on Jrue…apparently he’s suffering from “dead arm”. He says he’s “feeling something for sure”. Not good  :-\

Ugh that's not ideal. But we can afford for him to miss some time, still a month away from playoffs

How serious is a dead arm injury? Can it sideline him for a month or 2 months?

Why was he in playing in a blowout game anyway. Here comes the injury bug hitting the C's at this time of year

They did say (was it Abby?) that they were hopeful to get him back sometime during this 6 game road trip.

He hasn't been playing because of it. He suffered it 3 games ago

Jrue Holiday has missed the top-seeded Celtics’ last three games due to a right shoulder sprain. The guard gave a discouraging update regarding his injury Friday.

Holiday told The Boston Globe’s Adam Himmelsbach that he’s experiencing “dead arm.”

“I’m feeling something, for sure,” Holiday told Himmelsbach.

Dead arm syndrome can be caused by repeated throwing motions, an injury that pitchers in baseball sometimes experience. The injury can be characterized by symptoms such as arm fatigue, inability to throw with force, and numbness, according to HealthLine.

Holiday suffered his shoulder sprain versus the Washington Wizards last Sunday. A Wizards player set a screen on Holiday’s right side, leaving the Boston starter in visible pain. He grabbed his shoulder and hung his head down for a few seconds before jumping back into the play.

Let's hope 12 games off is enough  :-\ THIS IS WHY WE CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS

  • Yup
I know the Pistons are terrible, but the Celtics abilities to beat teams by 20+ consistently with crazy different combinations of players every night is remarkable.

With the exception of a couple of lapses, they have played hard and focused and executed their style regardless of who is on the court.
