Pick A Player Over/Under Points Game = PAPOUG

It's pretty basic: You just pick a player who is playing that night who you think will score above his average, and add him to the list, (along with the average - links are at the bottom of the Daily Results page). Whoever scores the most over their average, wins!

You can't pick someone who's already been picked by someone else, and if you win, you can't pick the same player for another week. There are playoffs at the end of the year, and it's made up of the top 16 players with a combination of points/average, so you don't have to be a top-scorer.

You can scan the rules for more details, and feel free to ask any of us any questions. Regardless, great to have you on the blog ... look forward to your contributions!

Fellow Celtics fans, please hop in if I'm wrong, but Wave a Tommy Point is basically an "Atta Boy"...an "Agreement", a "Good job".

If you listen to or watch some Celtics games when Tommy Heinsohn, Celtics Great, is announcing, he'll often give one of the Celtics players a "Tommy Point" for a hustle play, such as diving for a loose ball or something.

Thus, the originators of CelticsBlog migrated it the Electronic world.

It's just a nice gesture to help build the community here.

Yea. I agree...I give someone a TP when I like something they have posted...could be a comment, a pic, any interesting fact, in game threads after a Celtics' win, to acknowledge a poster etc.
