Hawks (6-21) at Celtics (17-10) Game #17 12/14/18

Good solid win, had a bad lapse in the 2nd but responded well and kept their foot on Atlanta’s throat the entire 2nd half. Took care of business and kept our key guys rested for tomorrow. Hope Gordon isn’t concussed, that would suck.

Brown had an ordinary game but the beauty of our team is that we’re nit overly reliant on any one player. There’s very few teams in the NBA that have that luxury.

Oddly bipolar game.  Scored 129 despite 21 turnovers and a couple of prolonged naps on offense.  Forced 24 turnovers (and the number would have been higher had we not called off the dogs in the fourth) but didn't guard the three well at all. 

Still, a 20-point win is a 20-point win.  I do hope they bring a more consistent effort to Detroit tomorrow, though.

Tomorrow night should be a mini-test. The Pistons play up and down, but at home against the C's they should be up for it.

Easy game tonight - other than the short scare in the 2nd. Brown didn't look good, but it can take weeks to fully come back from the flu. Let's hope it is sooner than that, but I wouldn't count on him being much better tomorrow.

Great rest for the whole team tonight to get ready for an away game tomorrow night. Let's make it count!

I am as impressed with Morris as anybody and I was fully on board with the move, but I am not going to pretend that AB wasn't a very valuable player for us.
