Cool. We'll have a fun and pretty talented summer league team with Smart, Young, Rozier, Hunter, Mickey, Thornton, Iverson, and Holmes.

Thats good news.....I was hoping we would use a 2nd on this guy.  Some people said he had a chance to be Draymond Green type player (obviously a typical exaggerated comparison)

Solid guy to have for the Summer League. Will see if he sticks more than that.

And what's all this moping about Upshaw -- get over him!

I love it!

I was wondering how he went undrafted. He does not have a ton of upside but you'd think his activity, capable shooting and defending would atleast land him a spot.

Prove those who passed on you wrong, JH. I think the key for him is offensive rebounding, which is something he can do. If he can grab O-Boards at a high rate, he could very well get a camp invite.

Very very nice pickup. Ready for 5 rookies in the lineup next season?

Surprised J.Holmes went undrafted. Looked liked a good bet to make it in the league as a scrappy combo forward off the bench. I would be happy to sign him here if Gerald Wallace is moved on. If Wallace stays, I see no point in having both of them.

How in the world did this kid not get drafted.  Very versatile and can be used as a 3 or 4.  Really like this kid and hope he gets a spot on the roster.  I actually like both our bigs so far

Whether Wallace is on the roster or not seems very very irrelevant to me.

Agreed, moreover they're not even the same type of player.

Wallace is irrelevant. He was part of the big trade with Brooklyn just to unload his contract. I'm not exactly sure how these contracts work but maybe Wallace is valuable for someone wanting to have an expiring contract. I mean Wallace is or was a very good player but he's just too old to contribute consistently like Mike Miller on Cleveland. So the bottom line is nobody wants Wallace as a player perhaps just as a contract.

Agreed, moreover they're not even the same type of player.
