** Some really close races, (highlighted in purple), and a triple score from tonight's game could easily make the difference. Players who have committed to the playoffs are in red ... you can let me know of your intent for the post-season via your pick today or a PM. Final seedings and eligibility will be determined after tonight's scores, but it seems fairly clear from past participation that we will need to dip below the cutoff line to fill all sixteen spots, (so don't be discouraged if you're in that group - you'll most likely play if you've been with us recently). I will be sending PMs to the players who haven't played in a while, or who I haven't heard from, and the reply time will be very limited due to a quick start of the post-season, so let me know as soon as possible. As of last night's (April 16th) scores, these are the points standings, (congrats to CelticConcourse, who moved up a notch, overtaking RebusRankin for the twelfth spot): **

1 ) Bahku - 1740.5

2 ) Misha - 1595.5

3 ) 33-00-32 - 1484.0

4 ) SlamTheKing - 1191.0

5 ) GreenFaith1819 - 1078.0

6 ) Cletus1985 - 1033.5

7 ) Dark_Lord - 892.0

8 ) ACF - 735.5

9 ) Redz - 725.5

10) Syfy9 - 569.5

11) ThirstyBoots18 - 486.0

12) CelticConcourse - 371.5

13) RebusRankin - 369.5

14) Kwhit10 - 360.5

15) Eja117 - 315.0

16) MGent - 236.0

17) BDM860 - 224.0

18) Humble G - 204.5

19) Edgar - 171.0

20) SCeltic34 - 103.0

21) Celtics18 - 56.0

22) MVPPierceNoJoke - 51.0

23) Sofutomygaha - 44.0

24) D-Dub - 43.5

25) JSD - 17.0

26) Ronaldo943 - 10.0

27) Quinn - 3.0

** For those on the lower part of the list, (below the playoff cut-off of 16th), you still have a very good chance of making the playoffs, as many who started the season are no longer with us, and some higher on the list may not be available for the playoffs, or may not be interested. I will be completing the standings thread before the playoffs so verification will be a bit easier, (also Top Ten and Doody List). Thanks! **

Thanks

I'll probably lose it again tonight; I still don't even know how these points work... ;D Some days, I even try for the doody.

;D I guess next year, I'll have to be more consistent with my picks!

Points are the amount equal to what spot you finish in each day, for example: If there are ten players and you finish sixth, (or in the fifth spot from the bottom), you get five points, except the winner gets twice the amount, which in the same case of ten players would be twenty. Only first place and last get TPs, first place equal to the amount of players, and one for the doody. I've been giving TPs for second to encourage more players, but that's not in Redz's rules. On Double Hump Day these amounts are doubled, (forty for first if ten players), and on Bahati Day they're tripled, (which would be sixty in the case of ten players). The only change is when there are twelve or more players, in which case the TPs are split, two thirds to first place, one third to second place ... points are not affected. The "doody" is just a TP given to the loser each day, (DNPs and DQs don't count).

** We're only three players short of a full compliment for the playoffs ... thanks for the prompt responses, folks, hopefully we'll get those other three from those remaining. Humble G - You happy you got that pick change in, or what? Copeland going off for 33 ... wow! He's such an efficient scorer ... if I'd known D-Wade was going to play he wouldn't have been available. ;)

** By the way, if you are the winner tonight, (which seems highly likely), you have made it into the top sixteen on your own, and won't need a "no-show" to qualify! **

I think everyone should hit the TP buttons and get Bahku to 3200. You put so much time into this, B and I know you only do it because you *like* to do it, but it just makes the game so much more fun to be a part of. I know I've been M.I.A. recently but you know a bit about that and anyway, now I'm just rambling and ranting...  :) Thank you, brother, I'm sure this game will be no *less* fun in the coming weeks.

Now, let's get those three spots filled, shall we?

Go Celtics!
