The organization is out of touch with the common fans perspective on this issue. You reap what you sow. There is no need for a video. "That Guy" made his bed, now let him lay in it.
I get the fact the organization wants to take the classy route. That's admirable, but he's the one who went out of his way to get the upper hand in the medias eyes. Simply put, he doesn't deserve it. He was just saying the other day, "boo the owners and organization not me.." so why are we lauding him?
In my eyes it's very simple. He deserves to be treated like any other guy on the "away" team. No more. No less. Let the Boston fans do the talking for the organization. If he's cheered so be it. If he's booed then he earned it and deserves it.
Please don't bungle this opportunity for the fans voice to be heard ownership. Let us collectively speak for the franchise. Silence is just as classy in this situation as some corny contrived video highlight.
