1. This explains shane Larkin being signed. The day he was signed was probably the day Danny was given the news that ITs injury is Serious business..
2. It also explains the trade. No one expected IT being a goner. Now we know why.
3. It may explain why the team was blown up

ITs style of play can be very physically demanding, and hips are sensitive areas and can be tricky... The cavs rethinking it means the hip is worse than any of us thought it was. Anyone remember that report a few weeks ago that "IT won't need surgery" and we all celebrated? Danny probably let that out to up the trade value one last time... It was BS I bet..lol

Expect a lot of rozier and smart. We will have to find a new point guard if IT is done. We may be rebuilding. We might be a 5 or 7 seed in the playoffs if we don't have IT or kyrie

I expect Danny to give them 2 more picks or Tatum, sadly

Give the cavs another pick somehow and let them take Thomas. Best case for Boston is he is hurt and does not play much for the cavs

And the lesson in this one folks is it's foolish in this day and age for a pro athlete to play when he's injured. IT may have cost himself an awful lot of money by not shutting it down when his hip started hurting.

What a skewed perspective.  He should be appreciated for playing through that pain and putting us on his back to the ECF, through all sorts of ****.
No it's a professional approach.  Playing injured like he did may end up costing him millions of dollars. You don't mess with hips - especially the way he plays.  This isn't high school sports.

as long as it isn't the Lakers pick I'm ok with it. Give them our late first or the Memphis pick

Well no matter where he plays Thomas is not going to start the season. He is going to miss games. Dump him now

Can't imagine anything comes of this unless the Celtics were hiding something.  But neither team wants to void this deal.  Cleveland doesn't want an angry Kyrie back either - and while it's true that they could retrade him, they likely aren't getting a better asset than that Nets pick from anybody else.
The whole world knew IT had medical issues so regardless their doctors were going to check him out prior to any deal. No way Ainge could purposely try to hide something.

Seriously Ainge isn't stupid... he obviously knew the hip would get checked out by Cleveland's doctors. It's just possible their doctors are saying it's worse than ours did. Only thing that makes sense.

Either way this is probably the best deal Cleveland is going to get for Irving so I'd be shocked if it's actually voided.

The deal was for the pick. Cavs aren't resigning from Thomas

Woj on tv: they'll be discussing all night until early morning how to fix the trade... They might go back and ask for more draft picks

Because Cleveland knows they're screwed too if it doesn't go through... Irving doesn't want to be there

Ainge had more leverage before and has more now. Seriously. IT had a hip injury and didn't need surgery. He is rehabbing. The Cavs knew this. The end. If they don't like it they can have back Kyrie and we get back IT, a top pick, Crowder, and Zizic.

100% of what they sent us they don't want and can't use. We can easily make good use of a lot of what we sent them.

Go ahead Cavs. Your move. I'll walk away

Add any pick but the lakers. Boston might have to take back someone

we did dump him, to cleveland apparently. It explains why we overpaid

I agree with you  though
