If anything you keep both Smart and Rozier and IT walks, as much as I like IT.

I think in 3 years IT comes off the bench.

Everytime Brown touches the ball ,  it seems I'm expecting a spectacular play.

He had a really good block and a bad call against him

Who was concerned about Isaiah? Raise your hands so we can shame you.

Looking more and more clear that we're going to end up needing to trade one of Smart or Rozier. I think they both deserve some time to run the second unit. I'd rather keep Smart, who I think has the higher ceiling and is the better overall player. But I also think he'd bring back quite a bit more than Rozier in a trade, too, so who knows.

I see what you're saying but I disagree. I think they work well enough together.

They work decently well together, but I think they're both clearly future starters in the league. I think either of them could eventually replace IT in the starting lineup.
Rozier has a much higher ceiling.

Like them both and I think we shouldn't trade either but Roz looks like he has all star ability in him.

If you don't care that Smart might be the best defensive guard in the NBA sure.
Which is why I like the idea of keeping both.

Why get rid of good players.

I feel the same way but when Smart's defense is so unbelievable his ceiling is extremely high.  Rozier has not been as good on either side of the ball as Smart has since day 1 on defense.

I would keep both at this point and let them develop more but I think they can both have bright futures. I'm not in love with defense first guards but I think Smart can be more than that. Need a big that can shoot like KO when you have guards that can't.

Yeah, just don't see it.

Feels like he takes his first step as if he knows its guaranteed a trip to the basket but when to and how to finish is the equation in his head

No RJ or Young so far, maybe DA is finalizing a trade?
Or maybe this is what Brads final rotation looks like sans Zeller

Tyler Zeller is currently dead last in total +/- on the Celtics in the preseason. He is -36, including tonight. He's also far and away dead last in offensive rating and defensive rating among Celtics who have played at least 4 games. Yes, below Hunter, James Young, and Mickey.

If people think we're good now, wait until Kelly comes back, because right now Zeller is the worst player on the team getting regular minutes.

I just like IT as the Lou Williams/Jamal Crawford sixth man type off the bench. I've long said that he's an absolute perfect fit for that role, and I stick to it.

My ideal scenario is Smart taking over for IT in the starting lineup next year, IT taking the sixth man role, and us using Terry in a trade for Cousins.

They will play in the second half and you will want to change the channel!

I think in 3 years IT comes off the bench.

I'd say that's about his max as a starter. Hopefully this will be his last year as a full-time starter and one of Smart or Rozier forces Stevens' hand to start him.

I'm still stunned and confused at the Zeller defensive outburst .....shades of Godzeller of the past.

I think we're a lot closer to Cleveland than many people think. Should be fun seeing them in the next couple of weeks in Cleveland.
