No idea if such a thread exists already, but I thought I'd start one just in case it didn't.

We are all craving basketball content amid the crisis. Feel free to post videos -- highlights, classic games, whatever -- here.

Also, use this space to give us all a head's up on interesting content on NBA TV, League Pass, etc.

Mods: Didn't think this was a problem from a copyright point of view, but I'll leave that to you.

Yeah, absolutely no problem with this thread (that I can think of at least). Definitely a good way to keep our minds off the chaos of the world for some time.

I always go back to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=axbIoHqFaa8

Not exclusively about the Celtics, but it's a great watch

Everyone probably already knows Tomasz Kordylewski's youtube channel but if anyone doesn't, now you have the best place for Celtic highlights:

I wish the nba had a streaming service with a back catalog of all postseason and as many regular season games as possible. It would be cool to be able to pick a random game from like 1997 and watch it on demand, for example, as well as classic regular season and playoff games.

Watched this. This was really, really bad basketball. Not even from a modern advanced stats point of view.

It's undeniable that neither team played well offensively. The defense was great on ball. Helpside was everywhere because offensive spacing was terrible. Overall defense was fine, but offense was terrible.

Last night watched 2008 game 7 vs Cleveland w my 11 yr old Celtics fan son. The Pierce vs Lebron duel. It was just a 20min highlight of both players mostly but was fun.

There's an archive of old games if you apply for the 30 day free trial on League Pass and I'm currently watching the 1966 ECSF and 1987 WCSF. Great games to watch if you want to start learning on how to differentiate great defenders, Russell and Hakeem were in a class of their own.

I always loved going on YouTube and watching Russell clips (you can usually find quarters / whole games from Finals series) from the playoffs. Just complete control of the defensive end.

Ikr, I think he would've had outlier defensive impact even today. Just imagine him making sense of scouting reports and play-by-play data!

Yeah, I feel like if he had modern conditioning and scouting along with his otherworldly understanding of the game and amazing athleticism he'd still be a complete beast on defence. Ah well, 11 rings is enough!

Thanks! Im glad I found this thread. I finally have something to do to kill time. I just wish things would go back to normal soon so we can have normal basketball games again.
