Al had a good game go to waste.

AL did have a good game but he can't be out there chasing guards around all game.

Too much switching.

Coach Udoka cost the C’s another game with his “Jack a ton of 3’s” offensive strategy. Boston took 45  3’s and barely shot over 30%. If they took higher percentage shots, I think they would have won this game. Thanks coach.
there were a LOT of open shots from 3 so i don't mind many of those. but the celtics simply missed open 3 after open 3.

i do think Udoka should have told then to attach the basket more.

oh well, on to the next one.

Do you think maybe the Hornets intentionally left them open for those 3’s since the Celtics are one of the worst 3pt shooting teams in the NBA?

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Boy it’s obvious Ime has no idea what he’s doing… Freedom/Horford front court? Taking out Romeo in crunch time when he was bringing energy and spurring a run and potential comeback?

They may have still lost even if Ime pushed the right buttons since. Tatum is having a Fultz like regression shooting wise but my God he’s just so obviously wrong with so many of his lineups…

Constant switching. If you have to switch then switch but don't automatically switch everything. Pritchard on Plumlee and Al on Rozier.

He has some idea about what he wants but he has to coach what he has.

Yeah he wants Stephen Curry, Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Kevin Garnett and Bill Russell on his team. Wait he'd probably tell Russell to space the floor for Curry!
Jaylen Brown for All-NBA

You all still want to build around tatum and brown? Hahahahahahahahahahaha
HEY, I’ve been saying it for weeks now: Trade anybody but Robert Williams III.  I am serious. If you trade Tatum, OF COURSE you expect a star in return. Same for Brown.

This team but esp Tatum has ingrained bad habits. They need a big shakeup.  There is something not quite right about this team.  Is it conditioning? Heart?  Coaching?  Something HAS to change.

I am not naive. I don’t expect any more trades before the deadline. But in the off-season, Brad has to do some soul-searching and figure this thing out because this is not entertaining and THAT should be a big flag for a businessman like Wyc.
as long as the building is sold out every night, Wyc won't see anything else as a red flag
So, you don’t think Wyc wants playoff revenue?
this team will make the playoffs -- play in round. he's not paying luxury tax until this team has a real shot at getting to the conference finals at least
I no longer have confidence in that happening. In fact, they may be better NOT making the playoffs if that’s what it takes to light a fire and force some changes.

Somebody else said that just being a star is good enough for Tatum and Brown. That may be true but we will never know. The point is that a shakeup is necessary in the off-season.  Let’s see how smart Brad really is.

Agreed. They have not earned it.

I know we were without two starters in Rob and Smart, arguably our two best defenders, but [dang] this game was so winnable and we kept blowing it. Our best scorers and outside shooters couldn't hit wide open shots and we kept throwing the ball away in key moments.

Not gonna lie, it also hurt to see Rozier and Hayward moving the ball and making big plays on a winning team.

as the season progresses, I'm growing less certain of it but their remaining schedule in the near future isn't against the meat of the league (and a lot of the rest of the schedule too) so the opportunity is there for this team to make some hay and improve their record.  question is -- will they.

agree with that as well.  let the lack of an all-star nomination knock them down a peg
