Ime is the least of the Cs issues right now. As I've stated numerous times, the Cs end of roster management has been atrocious over the last 3 years, and got worse at the deadline. I'm far more concerned about Stevens than i am about Udoka.

I'd like to see Ime coach with a league average or better bench before i'm certain his short leash is really an issue.

If you don't have a bench every year because you won't or can't play players then you're doing something wrong. Pritchard looks fine with finally getting some time. Miami is in first place playing and starting 10 day contract guys during the year. Developing players is a "coaching skill". A quick glance at Celtics stats says that your top four 3 point shooters by % are Grant, Fitts, Hauser, Pritchard.

Got a really good laugh out of this post -- thanks for elevating my day. TP.

One positive of the 8 man rotation is that if the NBA indeed expands to Seattle and Las Vegas, the Celts will be well prepared to lose anybody taken in the expansion draft.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

Ime Udoka is named the Eastern Conference Coach of the Month for February.

He is the first head coach in Celtics history to earn the monthly honor in their first career season as a head coach.

5' 10" former point guard

Career highlight: 1973-74 championship, Boston Celtics

Career lowlight: traded for a washing machine

Have to tip your cap to him for the defense the C’s are playing. If he improves on the offensive end, he’s going to be a very good coach.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I rely on this thread being bumped to know when the Celtics lose before I check the box score.
Man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much—the wheel, New York, wars and so on—whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time.

But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man—for precisely the same reasons.

I was his biggest critic, but you have to give credit where credit is due.

The celtics seem to have moved away from giving away huge leads, playing bad defense and from being heavy iso oriented to a selfless ball moving team, that can flat out shut down anyone.

Getting better at the deadline has had a part in it (God I love seing dr. Theis back in green).

Keep it up guys, we got a woring formula, don’t go away from that
