I just booked a flight to boston and also purchased a ticket to the march 13th game. i will be sitting in lodge 22. I am coming all the way from california (san diego). I havent booked a hotel yet. anyone who lives in the boston area, can you give me a tip on what are some hotels i can stay in that is close to the downtown area. also if anyone can list some of the to-do things while in boston, i appreciate it.

Fairmont Copley is a very nice hotel and in a great location. It is expensive, though.

Not knowing your interests beyond basketball, I don't know about recommending anything specific but you'll surely find something. March isn't the best time to spend outdoors here, though, so I wouldn't plan a picnic in the Common.

thanks for the reply. i know march isnt the best time to visit but its the only time i can visit. any places (sights) i should see while there?
