Let's not go breaking the first rule of fight club, sir - we have to keep that detail exclusive to the Hollinger-level subscribers to the Patreon.

Ok ok fine. We can take this IP dispute offline. Looks like we got a Charles Darwin / Alfred Russel Wallace situation here.

I'm really looking forward to this one.  No idea what direction the draft will go in.  The element is surprise here is much higher than our typical drafts.

The trade has made this much more interesting. I'm back to the drawing board -- from being locked in on my selection for the past four days to seeing the clock tick down and still debating five different choices.

Shooting Guard: Paul Westphal, Paul Pressey

Completely forgot this starts today.

a lot harder than I thought. I still have no idea who I'd take at 1, let alone 9 where I pick.

Yep.  Good GMs, too.  I hate the fact that I'm wedged between you and Moranis, because based upon player preferences it means my guy is likely to be stolen right in front of me several times.

If it happens this year it might just be a coin flip from me.  I'm at a loss for the first couple of rounds. I have a pretty good idea of what I want in the rotation, but the top is confusing me a lot.  I have no idea how to rate certain guys.  I have an ideal starting 5, but really have no idea if it is feasible to get or if I'm overrating the guy I'm considering in the 1st round and thus hurting myself.

Yeah it's interesting because even though I know that it's 98% persuasion in terms of how the team 'would do' and even though I have the MORANIS rating (backronym aside, this is a real thing that I threw together) to fall back on if I just need to pick "a guy" and all the binkies are gone, there's essentially two rosters-worth of eligible players that really make me go "indeed, this is the best team of Some Dudes ever assembled".
Man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much—the wheel, New York, wars and so on—whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time.

But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man—for precisely the same reasons.

I am still all over the place with what to do at #4. You wouldn't think it would be hard to make a four man list but every time I do I start second guessing it!

If you asked me each day for a week, I'd probably give you 7 different answers.

Apparently I am crazy for having a clear cut #1. Oh well. I’m not going to have the time to put the research into the back rounds that I’d like. I’m going for a top heavy championship in my own mind.

I had the 5th pick and a clear top 4, and then a few other guys. Other than the #1 guy I thought there was a lot of grey area.

It’s going to hurt to not have a 3rd rounder, but I’m going to try to mitigate it Belichick style, with IMO Tom Brady/ this leagues GOAT and extra picks in the 5th/6th rounds. That will determine my fate.

After they're all off the board, let me / us know who your top four were.  I'm curious about your delineation.

I have 4-5 guys, I think will be there when I pick at 11.  Minus the one that Roy will inevitably steal from me.

I believe that is when you are on the clock, such that if the guy prior to you has not selected you cannot.pick until the time listed for you.  You can go earlier though if the picks are in.
