I've been switching back and forth between the two NCAA games that really haven't been much of games in the second halves and the Arnold Palmer Classic at Doral and wat do you know? Tiger Woods has come back from 5 shots back and tied the tournament with a birdie on 15 and Sean O'Hair is now in the water on 16.

The guy is just amazing and a joy to watch. Even if you hate to watch golf you half to admire watching Tiger on Sunday, in the thick of things and see his intelligence, nerves, patience, power, comprtitive spirit and talent. Just one of the 2-3 most amazing competitors I've ever seen in any sport ever.

Update:

Now switching between the Celtics and the APC at Doral and Tiger just rolled in a par putt to finally take the lead after 70 holes. Two to go Tiger up by one. Anyone wanna bet against him?

  • The good ole days.
I've been watching the final round since about hole 7.  Haven't even checked UNC-Oklahoma.  I like a Sunday round with Tiger in contention much more than even the NCAA Final Four.

Ice water in his veins as he knocks it within 15 feet virtually in the dark on the last hole.

I was thinking about that today. A decade left of his absolute prime, and it's not like he'll fall off the map after that, either.

He's INSANE, but i'm one of the guys that only watches golf for him and the other big names. Although i do know the history of the game and I understand his importance in the sport.

I'm glad that he got a win this week so the morons who said that he wouldn't be the same after the surgery shutup.  Let the hype for the Masters begin, best week of the year in golf.

He's like noone I've ever seen in any sport.  You absolutely knew that that putt was going in.  He hit it so pure, never left the line to the bottom of the cup.

There it is for those who missed it.  The best part, it was so dark he could barely see the hole.

this is how i feel about the effect of tiger...he transformed the casual golf fan into a diehard golf fan and turned the non-golf fan into a tiger-on-sunday fan.....

and as someone who grew up as a diehard football, baseball, and obviosuly basketball fan,,,,,   the walkoff putt is as exciting as a walkoff homer, three pointer, or touchdown/field goal.....and i would never have been that into golf if it wasnt for tiger

if anyone wathced that final round today and didnt get sports goosebumps,,i'd be shocked...it def surpassed todays elite 8 games
Looking for a Sig designer....obviously i will be greatful with tps.

Looking for a Wire - Rondo theme....PM with ideas and I'll tp

It's been my opinion for about 8 years now, that if I could steal any other human's ability or skill, it would be Tiger Woods' golf swing.  Of course, unless the physical and, more importantly, mental strength came with it, I would just be Adam Scott.
