And by "he"... I mean Tiger Woods of course!  The World Match Play tourney next week just got a lot more interesting.

Apologies to those of you who were fooled into thinking this was about Will Solomon.   :D

Bout time, betting on golf without the option of "Tiger vs. The Field" was getting ridiculous.

Let the domination continue...

As a token of apology, I present:

Or perhaps, more appropriate, this:

And have a TP while I'm at it!   ;D

i could never figure out why someone would be a huge fan of any golfer. i mean to the level where they're shouting "yes!" when he makes a big shot. it's like wahoo! way to win yourself a boatload of money! "way to get more rich!"  i kinda feel that way about tennis too. when there is no team involved i just don't get it.i admire the talent but can't figure out getting behind one guy way more than another.unless one guy was poor and needed the money.

I think it has something to do with watching and appreciate greatness.  He is the best golfer in the history of the universe, being able to watch the way he plays the game compared to everyone else is awesome.

This is great news.  Obviously the golf world needed him.  Don't know how I feel about him coming back in the Match Play, but I don't really think I'm in a position to doubt the guy, he's never given anyone any reason too, and when they have he's proved them all wrong.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

Oh, this is a cruel thread to have going after KG's injury.  I got excited for a second.

It's good to have him back.

I'm typically don't really get into the golf season until the Masters but I might have to pay attention this upcoming week.

I am excited about Tiger's return, but I am truly more excited for the "other" golfers out there.

Tiger being back gives other golfers something to strive for....like the "David VS Goliath" theme.

Without Tiger, Golf and the PGA has been less of a focus. With Tiger back now, the focus is magnified about a billion times.

People are going to watch...and yes they are going to watch Tiger, but they are also going to see the other golfers who try their darndest to knock him off.

Tiger is a great one, probably "the great one" (sorry The Rock).

But a golf tourney can be won by a multitude of golfers.

Any top golfer on the tour can get hot over a 3 or 4 day stretch.

Also, this is probably the best time to beat Tiger just as he is returning to the game.
