Former Ohio State big man Jared Sullinger signed a two-month, $300,000 deal in September to play for the Shenzhen Leopards in China, and he was so dominant over that time that he agreed to a lucrative contract extension in November to play through the end of the Chinese Basketball Association season. His numbers this season have been eye-opening, but Tuesday, Sullinger took his production to an even higher level.
He’s currently averaging 31.2 points, a league-high 17.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists for the Leopards in 26 games and judging by the picture below, he has lost a considerable amount of weight.
