I can't stand this guy. Get rid of him as soon as possible, his value is decent right now.

I think he was overrated by fans and talk shows and writers like Jackie Macmullan quite a bit.

The Sullinger Turner Pressey Combo just killed the flow they had in the third quarter

He's very slow and gets very lazy on defense and rebounds at times and on his shot selection.  I always felt it wrong that people criticized jeff green all last year when Sully was no better with his lapses.  Probably worse in ways.  KO is really bad defensively too at times.  They are still young though.

He's not good in transition because he is so slow.  Our team is bad though. NOt sure any of these guys are motivated right now.

i dont see why u would trade him away or trade for him
a lot of teams already have a decent pf that gets a lot of mins as it is a position with a lot of depth
i dont see any team desperate enough to make a trade for him

sully may not be athletic but he has shown promise rebounding and scoring inside
he does not have star potential but he could be a solid veteran for the C's

Couldn't you have just bumped one of the other Sullinger hate threads you've started?

It's good to see you're not just a one dimensional Sully hater. You also are responsible for about 5 of the 'Bradley sucks' threads. ;D

I gathered that. ;D But what's the alternative? Not getting enough Zeller and Bass for your liking? Olynyk and Shav are banged up. It's either play this piece of crap or play that piece of crap, honestly.

Brad Steven's system has turned Sullinger into Antoine Walker.

I don't think it's so much an overreaction as it's about spot on at this point.  We are in full out rebuild mode now.  2 years ago it was an overreaction.  Sully can still get better and improve.  He's still young but I've never been one to think Sully can do no wrong.  He has lapses for sure.  It doesn't help when you don't have players around you to take some of the pressure off but Sully does need to improve aspects of his game.

Absolutely. Sullinger is not Anthony Davis. He has obvious flaws in his game and over the course of the past few weeks, his strengths have not looked all that good either.

But he's still 22 (soon to be 23) and, looking at the grand scheme of things, has been a good player. I have no problem with reasonable criticism of Sully (i.e. shot selection, defensive effort, body language). I do have an issue with suggestions of panic trading him for anything less than an appealing first rounder or an equally appealing prospect.

i know Sully sometimes looks lazy, uninterested and unmotivated at times. It's getting harder and harder to gage him as a future Celtic. He's just so up and down.

Id ont think we need to get rid of sully though so that's different.   He can stick but he needs to find his nitch.

Sully to me is a good guy to have if we have other really good plaeyrs.  counting on him to be the guy every second isn't happening right now.  He needs to be a nitch guy imo and come in and be aggressive.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
He has tailed off.

While I don't think we need to get to shop him now, I think it's alright to say that if we can move him and get decent value, we should. I don't know if it's just our expectations, but he hasn't taken that next leap this year, especially defensively, and it could be a little bit concerning.
