Davis (and Zion, for that matter) aside, I'm really on the Rui hypetrain.  He's still a bit raw despite his age, but he has all the tools to succeed as an impactful forward IMO.

My binkie record is pretty spotty though, I'll say.  Hasheem Thabeet, Steph Curry, Julius Randle, Stanley Johnson, Simmons/Ingram/Brown, Caris LeVert, De'Aaron Fox and OG Anunoby is quite a scatter.

Hachimura seems to have that great potential. I'll keep eye on that japanese kid.

My draft binkies are also spot on for years too, except some few ones  ;D

2011 - Reggie Jackson
2012 - Quincy Miller
2013 - Rudy Gobert
2014 - Marcus Smart
2015 - Montrelz Harrell
2016 - Buddy Hield
2017 - Josh Jackson
2018 - Michael Porter Jr.

LOL.

My record is spotty at best

2013 - Giannis (!! yes!!)
2014 - Rodney Hood
2015 - Myles Turner
2016 - Korkmaz
2017 - Jonathon Isaac
2018 - Elie Okobo

2019 - Jaxson Hayes (reminds me of Capela or someone) (second round binkie Admiral Schofield)

Charles Bassey. One of the youngest in this draft class. Struggled at times but started playing at WKU when he was still 17, iirc.
He's a more athletic and better skilled Kendrick Perkins. Just remember how long it took Perk to become Perk. If this kid is available at LAC or Celts pick I'd pluck him in a second.

I really like Romeo Langford. He has a great build for a 2-guard and skills aswell. He isn't shooting well, but his mechanics are encouraging!

Rui screams Derrick Williams 2.0 to me.

They appear to be very similar in size and length and statistically are almost identical

I worry that Rui like Williams is to reliant on his physical dominance at the college level and will not easily adapt to the NBA game. He will not be a star in the NBA and will have to show that he has the skills and IQ to make it as a role player in the NBA.

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
I'm telling people that if we don't draft Nasir Little if he falls past the lottery, we will regret it for a long time. He has a lot of potential, and very raw, but his skill set could prove to be perfect to fit alongside our young wing players.

Porter will drop, and we should nab him late first.

He is Al Horford 2.0.  Not an explosive athlete to begin with (neither is Al) which is why I don't worry about his knee, and BBIQ is off the charts for a big.

Poor man's Jocic.

And really nice 3 point shot as I recall. Groom him to eventually replace Al in 2-3 years.

So, with the possibility of Kyrie leaving means there's a lesser chance Danny goes all out for AD. That said I'm going to modify my binkie post presuming we have these picks.

Pick 9: If we get lucky enough to get this pick:
Darius Garland (to get some of Kyrie's and TRoz's minutes until ready for prime time. missed almost entire FR season due to injury. will need time, especially being a point guard). Second choice: Sekou Doumbya (very skilled for his size. could be a superstar)

Pick 14: Bol Bol (this pick is basically "free rolling". why not take a huge chance on a lottery ticket). Second choice: Nassir Little (if available but wishful thinking).

Pick 20: Tyler Herro (we really need a pure shooter off the bench). Second choice: Brandon Clarke (would get minutes right away at multiple positions. DA may see more value in this pick)

Pick 22: Charles Bassey (could be steal of the draft. will turn 19 just after '19-'20 season starts). Second choice: Louis King (could be second steal of the draft. has all the tools).

Pick 51: Shamorie Ponds (could turn into poor man's Lou Williams); Dedrick Lawson (poor man's Marcus Morris); Isaiah Roby (poor man's Dennis Rodman); Carsen Edwards (won't be available but could turn into a Isaiah Thomas, Jr.)
