I would trade 20,22 and 51 to atl for 17 and 35 in order to improve the chances of getting Bitadze and Herro in whatever order works. Then I would hope to get someone like Bazley, Kabengele, Cam Johnson, Claxton, Windler, Carson Edwards, or Jerome with 35.

Feel every guy this draft including Zion has big faults so Im not moving up. Give me all three draft picks to take shots at hitting it big. If ever there was a crazy late pick player to blow up from a draft this is that draft.

I don't believe dealing picks away for futures or stash guys is a good idea for the fact we never get enough compensation value in those deals with all the protections today.

Trading for someone doesn't make sense if you want Brown and Tatum to be leaders you need to give space to grow. Also dealing for a guy might not be worth the assets or will hurt the time line. Maybe at Trade Deadline once the team identity is established and you know how guys fit you deal for a piece.

So with all that I'd probably go for BPA at 14 which will likely be
-Cam Johnson. Though the team probably doesn't have a lot of playing time for Cam right away he is a elite shooter who off the bench could be what Morris was for the team without the attitude.
-Goga fits a need and the system so he is the C I prefer most this draft.

At 20 I think you swing for the fences with the guys that may be bust or could change the land scape of the East.

-Bol elite length and offense.
-Bazley good phyiscal tools and play making.
-Clarke elite defender potential.

At 22 I go outside the box and reach to fill a need by getting Bryce Brown. Yup Bryce Brown. We need a SG that can shoot coming off the bench that's my guy to do it this draft. You have to pound the table sometimes for a guy this is my guy. I'm not letting him go to the second round. I also feel his shooting will get 76ers attention.

Not many great stash guys this draft. And in general I feel like drafting to stash also leads to reaching for guys (see Yabu). I would rather trade surplus into future years or consolidate to trade up (if they see a guy they like). Then again, given the direction the team is going maybe they do roll with three rookies next year.

Anyone else excited about the draft?

We might actually use all 3 picks now with the recent developments. We could be end up being one of the youngest teams in the nba

Yes, I am too. The team is deciding on a new direction and the draft is the first opportunity to do that. Free agency will be bigger unless the draft springs a surprise ... but it is fun to see new beginnings.

Bring on the draft!

Not really.

Still in the disappointment hangover of everything else.

Plus, still do not want three rookies on the team.

Not really, because of how weak it is, but I'm looking forward to it anyway because I think it'll help to have some new name and face we can try to psych ourselves up about.  I can watch the highlight videos of whoever we draft and try to convince myself that guy (or guys) will be a steal.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

Maybe only because we have little else to look forward to.

I used to think “in Danny we trust”, not so much anymore.

If he drafts 3 6’7 guys I may shoot myself.

Looking forward to it until Ainge trades all the picks for future picks and we come away with nothing.

I am. It should be fun to get a new name or two to get excited about even if reality will likely be less glorious come october.

Have heard from a few places today that some teams near the top of the draft are wondering about Jaylen Brown's availability.
