There's a ton of high volume, tough to fit scoring left on the board - I'm excited to see where some of these names go in this draft solely because they'll be binkie-picks. It's lots of fun to see passion flow through a keyboard when someone is selecting a personal favorite that might be somewhat random.

I have the third pick and no idea who I'm going to take.  Could go with like 10-15 different guys.

I had about 8 different guys I was considering before settling on Miller.

Definitely binky & personal preference stage of the draft.

For sure.  There are a lot fewer value picks left, meaning we’re left with dozens of guys on about the same tier.

Gotta say that even after 8 rounds with most team's rotations close to done that the separation between best and worst in this game is as close as I have ever seen in over a decade of these type of games on this site.

Don't get me wrong, there is some separation. I think about 5-6 teams can make great arguments for being title contenders. I think about 3-4 teams probably are out of it.

But, this isn't a league with a clear delineation between best and worst. The 3-4 teams out of it are still teams that are not 20-62 type teams. The worst team in this league might have 35 wins and the best team might not have 50 wins.

Of course, this assumes health of all players. Injuries would change things but we really can't consider injuries for anyone. Or we can just assume injuries would be even for everyone, either way, I think things are ridiculously close right now.

For those teams that feel they are the team to beat, there is one specialist out there that I think one of you guys should bite the bullet and pick him up tomorrow. Having this specialist on your bench just makes sense.

The word "specialist" is making me rack my brain right now! Time to keenly go over my board and try to find out who you're referring to :P

I have a few guys in my mind who fit that description, but I'm tempted to go for another star big with my next pick

A star big next to Divac would IMO be handy, before they’re all snaffled up. Still a couple of PF’s I really like

With the 1st pick in the 9th round, the Dallas Mavericks select Kyle Korver.

NBA All-Star (2015)

Shot 53.6% (!) from three in 2009-2010, which set an NBA regular season record. Btw, he also hit 47.8% of his threes in the playoffs that season!

Not the best defender in the world, but that's why I drafted Bowen yesterday!

Having 6 switchable wings in Luka, Klay, Kawhi, Cliff, Korver and Bowen would do wonders on the defensive side of the ball. Shortest guy is Klay at 6'6! Can't think of a better way to hide Luka and Korver on D. Btw, all 6 of these guys can shoot the 3 as well.

With 9(2), the Toronto Raptors select an All-Star power forward who was an incredibly skilled finisher during the 2000s:
