These guys aren't getting the publicity they deserve. They just quickly went up 2-0 in the first period. That pretty much means they will be picking up 2 more points.

The Bruins are 10-1-2 picking up 22 out of a possible 26 points, and those numbers can look even more impressive if they win tonight.

Rask is looking like the league's best goalie. Pastrnak is looking like the league's MVP. Marchand is brilliant. Bergeron is the heart and soul of this team that makes everyone else play better. The defense is amazing. The power play outstanding.

Don't sleep on these Bruins, they are looking like they are going to get the Cup they gifted to St Louis last year.

Don’t jinx it, nick. I love the lack of publicity this team has been getting.

I'm enjoying their play this season, but when it comes to awards and trophies, these guys have a lot of work to do to make up for that abomination of a game 7 last season. In particular, the so-called "Perfection Line," which barely did anything in last season's Cup Finals, have much to prove. Regular-season accomplishments are all well and good, but I want another Cup.

Not unlike any team, the Bruins are vulnerable to injury.  In last year's finals, it seemed to me that Pastrnak was injured and Bergeron was not 100% or maybe just gassed.  The Blues were too good for the Bruins to beat them with even small chinks.

Defensive depth is improved this year.  They have 3 good solid pairings going right now.

The Bruins need to play the long game.  Think like Pop and the Spurs.  Keep everyone fresh and healthy to the extent possible.  You can't always control it but you need to work towards having it all going at the end, like it played out for the Blues.  Love the start but it is just that it is a long season.  They have the pieces but so much needs to go right for any team.

Makes up for the one where they blew the 4-0 lead, maybe?

Now up to 8 straight wins and a 12 game point streak. And this latest streak has been without Bergeron. The B's playing unreal good hockey.

Simply put, this Bruins team is the best in the NHL, and I am not sure it's close, though I am guessing Caps and Islanders fans might disagree(but they would be wrong)!

Some milestones:
- Halak with his 49th shutout tonight in his 500th game
- Krejci with his 200th career goal.
- Bruins now 12-0-4 at home, not losing one home game in regular time. Incredible!

If you want to watch the third period of an off the charts exciting hockey game turn on the Bruins-Lightning game right now.

Tampa with 2 short handed goals on the same power play. Boston comes back from 3-0 with 2 goals late in the 2nd. Physical checking game with lots of fights and the Garden crowd going turbo!!!

What a game!!!

A Lightning-Bruins playoff series will no doubt be fun.

I said that last year too, but the Lightning had shockingly got swept first round.

I know we lost tonight, but I'm encouraged with how physical the team has looked lately. Way better than a few weeks ago when they all just played timid and didn't seem to "fight back" as often as you'd like when other teams intimidated them. Turnovers just killed them against TB, and obviously you don't want to be giving up TWO shorthanded goals in a game.
