Title says it all. Keep it somewhat logical and post the trade.

What have you got?

Me its
Hayward, tatum, yabusele, semi, williams, mem pick, lac pic, boston 2020 pick for Davis, hill, moore

Pels run for playoffs (jrue, hayward, tatum, zion, randle)

Next sign and trade rozier to knicks for frank.
(Nyk reportedly interested in getting terry)

Lastly resign Kyrie, Morris. Sign Beverly to MLE and Carter to LLE.

Irving/beverly/wannamker
Smart/moore/frank
Brown/carter/hill
Horford/morris/pick 14
Davis/baynes/pick 24

By deadline shop frank/hill/moore(all expirings) for whatever is missing from the team

I can get behind that team as well.

I am trying really hard to get used to the idea that Hayward can be a good contributing piece of a championship team.

But his play makes it so hard....

Ok this is more realistic scenario since I expect Kyrie to leave and knicks to outbid is for Davis ...
Trade Hayward to Cleveland plus a late first for knight and Tristan .
Resign Rozier at 12 mil a year for 4 years
Resign Morris at 10 mil a year for 3 years
Resign Horford for 25 mil a year for 3 years
Use full MLE on a power forward - green from clippers
PG - Rozier / Knight / 14 pick
SG - brown / smart / 18 pick
SF - Tatum / Morris / Semi
PF - Horford / Green / Yabu
C - Tristan / Baynes / time lord
This is basically the same team as the 2018 playoff team with more rebounding.
At the deadline add a disgruntled star like Beal or George using knights expiring + one young player + a pick
Or trade for Conley with Roziers contract plus a pick.
This is as much damage control as we can do at this point.

ideal and realistic aren't really the same thing but here goes.

Gouki88's trade based on the assumption AD waives his trade kicker because he's open to resigning in Boston.  Slight tweak is that I think we'd have to give up the Sac pick and may be able to keep our own for that reason.  Sign Beverly for MLE.  Sign Dudley for Vet Min.  Resign Morris.

Look into one of the following to shore up the guard rotation with whatever money we have left exceptions : Wes Mathews (probably can't afford him), Vince Carter (hate having someone with that kind of mileage), Jose Barea (probably can't afford him).  look to land another vet big that's cheap and provides energy like Kyle O'Quinn or Ed Davis.  Wouldn't mind kicking the tires on Stanley Johnson to back up Hayward either provided he's going for cheap

Draft BPA with whatever pick we may have left this year.
Kyrie/Beverly/Wanamaker
Brown/ Dudley
Hayward/Semi
Horford/Morris
Davis/Baynes/Williams
add a draft pick and whomever we can kick the tires on that I listed.

of primary importance is to remove Rozier.

Tatum, Smart, Williams, Yabusele, Semi, Mem pick, LAC pic, Boston 2020 pick for Davis.

Hayward to Memphis for Conley.

Look for a serviceable backup rotation 2 guard and small forward.

Lock up Horford.

Sign Morris.

Keep Baynes, Theis and Wannamaker.

Uber ride for Kyrie to airport.

Separate Uber ride to airport for Rozier.

This would make me vomit. Rozier at that money is literally insane. 35-40 win team

12m a year? How does that make you vomit? That’s literally nothing.

I’m going to revisit this once I know what direction teams are going headed towards draft day. All I know is Davis hasn’t to be on this team and be the star we build around. Idk anything else at all.

I don't believe that Kyrie is staying in Boston under any circumstances. To me game 5 in Milwaukee was basically his middle finger to Boston on the way out the door. You could see in his body language that he didn't care, half arsedly chucking up shots.

So realistically I believe we'll be running with the young guys next year.

1. Kyrie signs in New York with KD

2. Lakers trade all their assets for Davis (in this fantasy, the season will go very badly for the Lakers and AD will leave next summer)

3. Horford opts out of his deal and re-signs for 4 years $70 million

4. Celts draft:

-- #14 - Brandon Clarke (F)
-- #20 - Daniel Gafford (F/C)
-- #22 - Bruno Fernando (F/C)
-- #51 - Shamorie Ponds (G)

5. Morris signs with the Clippers (or similar); Baynes opts out and signs with a contender; Theis signs with another playoff team; Wanamaker signs a deal overseas; the Celts decline Yabu's option and he signs a deal in China.

6. Terry Rozier signs with the Suns or Magic

7. Darren Collison signs a two year deal (second year team option) for $7.5 million annual

8. Celtics sign to a vet minimum: Garrett Temple; Shelvin Mack; Jared Dudley

Roster

Guards - Smart, Collison, Mack, Temple, Ponds

Wings - Brown, Tatum, Hayward, Semi, Dudley

Bigs - Horford, Clarke, Gafford, RW, Fernando

Starters:  Smart, Brown, Tatum, Hayward, Horford

Bench: Collison, Mack, Semi, Williams

Prospects: Clarke, Gafford, Fernando, Ponds

Deep bench vets: Dudley, Temple

I'd feel good about that team.  Back to being an underdog.  I bet they'd earn the #4 seed again and head into the playoffs with a chance at winning a series.

If any of the ideas were the best Danny could do then the dark ages of mediocre will return.

I am torn on what I want to happen this off season.  I along with everyone else did not have fun watching this team.  It's the first time I've said that in a long long time.  I love sports but the Celtics are far and above my favorite sports team.  I'm from Ohio so it's not hard to see why because I'm a Browns, Indians and Ohio State Buckeyes fan who grew up watching the OB3 and through the Reggie Lewis and Paul Pierce years.  I choose the C's over any team in any sport.  My autograph collection shows and I watch every game religiously.  Except this year.  It was hard and some games I actually turned off because I hated how they were playing.  I was missing Crowder and IT3 and that right there shows you something is wrong.

I think Kyrie is an amazing player and have no ill will towards him but I just don't feel he is a Celtic or defines Celtic Pride.  I truly believe that's a thing and not all players have it in them.  I also hate losing him for nothing.  So below are some things that I think can happen.  They will not be ideal because you hate losing top end talent.  I just think Kyrie is over this situation and I think The C's are over him probably except Danny.  He's staking his reputation that he can get a Kyrie Situation to work and if he tries it could be his downfall and the C's downfall.  I think there will be better offers for AD so the C's lose out on him as well.

So with that being said I believe Kyrie walks and signs with NY.  He wants more money so the C's and NY do a sign and trade so the C's get a ginormous trade Exception, NY gets their guy and Kyrie gets his money.

Al Horford Opts out and signs a team friendly 3 year contract.  I'm not sure what the number is but I know it will be less then 30 and more then 20.

Rozier is gone, Theis is gone, Wannamaker is gone

Morris resigns for 3 x 12

The C's extend Baynes Contract and he opts in.

The C's us the exception and sign someone like Rubio.

The C's draft 2 bigs and 1 Wing and build around the young guys and get back to team basketball.  They hope that out of all of the young guys most pan out to become trade bait or cheap talent for a few years.

PG Smart or FA
SG Brown
SF Hayward
PF Tatum
C Horford

Sign a FA PG - Rubio/Teague/Beverly/Collison - Brogdon is my pipe dream but not affordable and he's restricted.  He fits Celtic Basketball.  He plays great D, can Shoot and get to the rim.  I wish the C's could get him to replace Kyrie.  He'd be the perfect fit along the young guys, Al and Hayward.

Bench
Morris
Smart
Baynes
Timelord
Yabu
Semi

#14 Pick - Bol Bol
#20 Pick - Goga Bitidze
#22 Pick - KZ Okpala

1 Open roster spot for a trade later in the year for another bit time player.  The C's will have the Huge Exemption, the Memphis Pick and some young players to move.

Now pipe dream never gonna happen off season.

3 team trade.  KD to the C's, Kyrie to the Knicks and picks and a Trade Exception to GSW.

3 team deal - AD to the C's, Tatum, Memphis Pick, Kings Pick and other salary to the Pelcans with a 3rd team shredding salary and getting some 2nd round picks to help out in the deal.

PG - Smart
SG - Brown
SF - Kevin Durant
PF - Horford
C - Anthony Davis

Bench
Hayward and others not traded in the AD deal.

Nearly none of the teams here are realistic, lol.
