Interesting game. Pierce scored an amazing 31 points on 16 shots with no FTA. He also got zero rebounds. Meanwhile Tony started and played very well. Powe was limited by foul trouble and conditioning but looked okay in his 17 minutes.

During the second quarter the Celtics got lazy and let a small lead become an 8 point deficit. They weren't getting back in transition at all and Philly abused them repeatedly. Add in some lazy passes and you can see why the C's were outscored by 9 in the quarter despite starting it out well.

Pierce letting the team have it right at the end of the second quarter was the highlight of the night for me. After that the C's came to play the entire second half, pulling out a win in Philly when they were just playing for pride without Ray or KG.

Also I would be remiss not to mention that Joey Crawford needs to stop trying to make himself the focus of nationally televised games.

Bizarre box score tonight.
My MV's:
PP provided clutch shooting and lit the fire.
Perk did what Perk does and we needed it badly tonight.
TA had what would be a good night even if he had been healthy all year--he gave us a solid game that also gives us confidence for the road to come.
