So Rozier looks like he is turning the corner and you want to trade him for a guy who quite simply is a bad basketball player?

You just have to wonder about some of these posts. LOL.

FWIW, this quote was from yesterday's Zach Lowe piece:

Quote
Multiple rival executives labeled Winslow as Miami's version of Jahlil Okafor.

This is where I disagree with Lowe. Winslow is not starting because he just cannot score, lacks the touch and shooting form. He needs a shooting coach.
I think he just means that he was a highly regarded draft pick who doesn’t look like a very good nba player.  He’s definitely a dissapointment like Okafor was to the Sixers.

You do it if it's buy low, and I don't think it's crazy to include Rozier for Winslow, even think right now Rozier is a more useful player to us.

Rozier is barely a backup PG, and on offense he clearly plays SG. Moving Smart for Winslow creates that problem, as Smart is our primary backup PG.

Brad would get the most out of Winslow, but I doubt it happens. Ainge and Riley just don't work well together.

Why? Next year we will have Tatum, Hayward, Brown, Rozier, Ojeleye and Nader all vying for playing time at the 2 or 3. Just too much clutter at those spots for a guy that can't score.

I'd be shocked if Nader is still on the team next year.

as would I and frankly if the team keeps Smart I wouldn't be surprised to see Rozier gone.  Also, while I like Semi, I'm not sure he is a long term player either.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson

I'll take him for...Nader.
