All Star Game just became so gimmicky as to be unwatchable

It wouldn't have mattered last night, but most pickup games I played to 11 or 21 and you had to win by two.

I was thinking team G should have been deliberately missing second foul shots at the end.  They still would have had to have made stops at the other end, but they would have had an extra possession opportunity if they could snag an offensive board.

So, Ms. Chaka Khan's rendition of the National Anthem is being compared to Fergies?

Ms. Chaka's rendition was CLASSY, respectful and sung from a Black person's perspective. She put her OWN stamp on it that was classy.

Those criticizing her for it are simply trying to reconcile her to Fergie's Hot Mess of a rendition.

I love Chaka Kahn, have since the 70's. But that was not a good rendition. She seemed a little lost on where she was going multiple times.

I will say this, though - her voice has aged a LITTLE...through no fault of her own, though.

My girlfriend compared it to Rosanne Barr's rendition... and that was a church choir singing Black person's opinion.  I thought it was pretty bad.

My girlfriend and I watch that stupid Masked Singer show and Chaka Khan was the most recent eliminated. Her last song was notably bad. So was the anthem. I think she lost what she once had and is more reputation than performance now.

She definitely lost any sense of melody.  If we didn't know the words to the anthem we'd have absolutely no idea what song she was singing.

I know it wasn’t intentionally bad like Barr’s but it was the worst I’ve ever heard since. Bunch of grandstanding with a terrible voice.
