I’d therefore like to see Stevens combine other pieces to get a legit PG who can run a nasty P-N-R with Timelord.I see pretty much no chance of this happening unless he comes back next season with a reliable jump-shot, and that seems unlikely as well. Still, I wouldn't trade him as he is fantastic.

Rob is also a 62% free throw shooter which he's been super consistent with. I like Rob's game aside from his nagging injuries, so I don't want to knock him down. But jump shot isn't his focal point and/or strength. He never looks very comfortable shooting outside and he's left open. I think if he had a good shot, he'd shoot more. And does the jumpshot make or break him from becoming a third star on the team?
Rob doesn't need a jump-shot to be a 3rd star but he does need to be a lot more consistent and dependable. Never sure what you're going to get from him. Impact or sleepwalking. Edit: His defense, rebounding & team offense (passing, cutting, transition) are good enough to make him a high impact player without being a capable jumpshooter. That is why I do not think he needs a jumper to be a 3rd star.

I love this. That's from this season.
So quick question. Is Timelord basically our third best player now?

I wonder about Smart because I thought he played a lot better than he was not the PG. He was less of a liability offensively. In that role, it was closer between Smart and Rob Williams. In Smart's current role it is not close at all and Rob Williams is clearly the 3rd best player on the team.
