This would be a satisfying sweet revenge win.

I thought last game the Cs weren’t sure how to handle Houston’s oddball D. No switching, really physical D on the perimeter. Changed the dynamic in the pick and roll, which is increasingly a bread and butter play for this team and they didn’t figure out how to handle it. I’m looking to see what the coaching staff puts together to attack that D. If we can get past the first defender should be smooth sailing to the rim!

It's been 36 years since the Celtics have lost on Leap Day. Their 102-98 loss to the New York Knicks on Feb. 29, 1984, snapped a five-game Leap Day win streak for Boston that dated back to the start of the NBA.
After not playing on Feb. 29 for two decades, Boston started a new streak in 2004 and has won four Feb. 29 games in a row.

We got it to within 2 or 3 in Houston before reff ball went into overdrive. Hopefully they're more disciplined and Stevens has a game plan.

Hoping the refs aren't going to go all ticky tack on foul calls and send Houston to the line 40-50 times....like last game.

If the refs let us play, we win easy. If ticky tack fouls called, it will be a long night and a loss.

i would all but guarantee this is exactly how it will to go down .  Westbrook and Harden will go to line 35 times between them.  The flow of the game is irratic , no rhythm.  Ugly basketball , frustrating to watch  Teams are not allowed to defend these two guys., cut off their drives , so it becomes an unwatchable brutal affair  picky touchy refed basketball.  Defense is not allowed to be played against Harden.

Except on Theis of coarse, he'll get his standard ticky tack 5 no matter what.

Yeah that is some serious stat digging....

cmon C's we need a BIG win today against this team.  I am not a fan of Harden or Westbrook.  Can wait to see Smart and Jaylen on those two.

Yeah, but we won a championship in '84, so maybe it's not all bad news.
