I'm curious if this is b/c (a) we have fewer "trade sharks" involved this year or (b) the general knowledge base and overall acumen of our GMs is higher overall and GMs have relied more on putting together a team whose parts fit through the draft.

I feel like it might be a combination of both, but I know in previous years I would get a ton of trade offers for players, where I have yet to receive any this year (all the offers were for picks)

I think its a combination of both as well as a large portion of GMs that just love their teams the way they are, especially the new GMs with tons of rookies on their teams

Personally, every time I've drafted a player, its been someone that I thought fit into the image of my team. I think its definitely b) and overall other people are thinking the same way

I may be involved in a high portion of the trades this year, but they have been exclusively for picks
