Getting Hayward+Yabu off the books doesn't help us all that much next summer. Assuming Horford opts in, Kyrie signs a new max contract and Morris-Baynes-Rozier-Theis walk, we 'd have about 19 million in cap space. That's without including the draft picks (up to 4 of them) + Dwight Powell's salary next season ($10,259,375). All things consider, it's possible that we would have zero money to spend in free agency. I'd much rather give Hayward more time to return to his old self.
Obviously, we could re-sign Jordan. I guess I'm not a big fan of his game. If we were to trade Hayward (which most likely we won't), I'd like us to go after Otto Porter.
